Le pietre/parole di Simona Innocenzi ci parlano intanto un linguaggio intimo, nudo. Sono nudità quelle che affiorano dalle sue pietre spiate, svelate, sottratte. Sono pietre pudiche e impudiche che mostrano la loro nudità come le ninfe potevano fare con naturalezza il bagno in un torrente, ignare che, nel frattempo un artista le stava spiando e immortalando in un quadro. Così sono anche queste pietre sculture, tutte ravvolte nell’intimità di essere sottratte allo sguardo erotico del fruitore d’arte.

Meanwhile, the stones/words of Simona Innocenzi speak to us in an intimate, naked language. They are nakedness that emerge from his spied, revealed and stolen stones. They are modest and impudent stones that show their nakedness as the nymphs could naturally bathe in a stream, unaware that, in the meantime, an artist was spying on them and immortalizing them in a painting. So are these sculptural stones, all reformed in the intimacy of being removed from the erotic gaze of the art user.
